• A guy like me

So what’s a guy like me doing writing romance? When I figure that out, I’ll let you all know. What I do know is that I’ve loved books and stories for as long as I can remember. I recall reading the Dr. Seuss’ classic (aren’t they all?) And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street as a kid, and since then the lure of the written word has been irresistible. I’ve read a little bit of everything over the years, from European classics to futuristic, off world sci fi, and I think the common thread to stories I enjoy has always been the characters. It didn’t matter where, or when, the story was set, it’s always been the people, or animals, or aliens, that kept me asking for more.

My “official” career path never included writing. But a funny thing happened as I traveled down that path. The people inside my head kept knocking on my skull, requesting that they be let out. I’m not the brightest guy, but when the requests turned to demands, it became obvious that it was time sit in front of the keyboard and let their stories be told. So that’s what I’m doing—telling their stories. And if they’re romances, well what’s wrong with that? Be advised though, I’m not in control here, my characters are, so who knows where we’ll end up. I’m pretty sure it’ll have a happy ending though. Sliáinte!
